Natural Person

A Natural Person is a human being with legal rights and responsibilities. This term distinguishes individual humans from legal entities like enterprises or government bodies.

The Enterprise Wallet stores a Key Pair and a DID for every registered Natural Person. Natural Person can use the Enterprise Wallet to request and present credentials, such as the Natural Person Credential issued by the Bundesanzeiger.

If the Natural Person has a functionary role in the enterprise, the Enterprise Wallet can also be used to request and present an Enterprise Credential. Furthermore, functionaries can delegate signatory rights to other employees by issuing a Power of Attorney Credential.
