ARF

The European Digital Identity Wallet Architecture and Reference Framework (EUDIW ARF) is a comprehensive guideline developed by the European Union to standardize the implementation of digital identity wallets across member states. It aims to ensure interoperability, security, and privacy of digital identities, allowing citizens to authenticate and access services across the EU seamlessly. he framework sets technical specifications, security protocols, and governance models to foster trust and usability. By providing a unified approach, the EUDIW ARF supports the Digital Single Market strategy, enhancing cross-border digital interactions. While the initial focus of the EUDIW ARF has been on personal identities, the intention is to extend it to organisations, including enterprises.
